The predecessor of ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation, Itoh International Patent Office, was established in December 1967 by patent attorney Tadahiko Itoh, primarily handling patents in the fields of electronics, and machinery. Since then, with the advancement of cutting-edge technology and the increasing importance of intellectual property rights, the number of patent attorneys, technical staff, and administrative staff has increased accordingly.
Despite the growth in size, Itoh International Patent Office maintained a policy of elite expertise, with patent attorneys and technical staff consistently aiming for high-quality work, and administrative staff striving for precise and meticulous work on a daily basis.
In July 2011, I, patent attorney Tadashige (Tad) Itoh, assumed the position of President. Subsequently, on January 24, 2024, I inherited all the operations of Itoh International Patent Office and established ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation by dissolving Itoh International Patent Office in an evolutionary manner. ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation is equipped to handle all technical fields, including AI, IoT, materials informatics, fintech, telecommunications, semiconductors, information processing, materials, chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.
Moving forward, I will continue to lead ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation with the principles of "Customer-first," valuing what our clients need; "Challenge-oriented," not fearing to take on new challenges by understanding the changing times; and "Elite-focused," actively striving to perform high-quality work.
ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation, in collaboration with our U.S. office, IPUSA PLLC, and our supporting Chinese office, Beijing IPCHA, will focus on a global perspective to secure high-quality intellectual property rights at low costs in Japan, the U.S., and China. Although there are still many areas where our knowledge and skills are insufficient, I am committed to doing my utmost to improve.
