Absorption of Hirota

We are thrilled to announce that ITOH absorbed the IP boutique firm Hirota, Nagare & Associates (hereinafter “Hirota”) on June 1, 2022.

Hirota was established in 2000 by Mr. Koichi Hirota. Hirota had 25 staff members including 5 Japanese patent attorneys and 2 doctors.

Hirota had a variety of experience and knowledge in the field of biotechnology, food technology, medical technology, material science, chemical technologies, and so on.

Since we have recently applied a “free address system” in our office, we will be able to provide working space for Hirota’s staff members. Please note that operations at Hirota ceased on May 31, 2022.

As you know, ITOH has considerable experience and expertise in technical fields such as AI, IoT, communications, software, and electrical machinery. The merger of Hirota with ITOH has further enhanced our capacity to handle interdisciplinary academic fields and developing technical fields, such as bioinformatics, materials informatics, and AI drug discovery.

Through this merger, we believe the new ITOH will continue to contribute to the success and development of our valued clients and foreign associates!
