Beijing IPCHA (Beijing, PRC)

In 2007, our firm established the U.S. office IPUSA PLLC and has since been dedicated to achieving high-quality U.S. patent acquisition at low cost.

Recently, we have been receiving increasing requests from our clients, asking if similar services can be provided in other countries as well. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we explored whether the same could be done in China, and in March 2024, we launched the Chinese patent office Beijing IPCHA (Beijing IPCHA Intellectual Property Agency), fully backed by ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation. Beijing IPCHA is a registered patent firm in China that offers high-quality Chinese patent acquisition at low cost, with a global perspective (licensed on March 22, 2024).

Staff

President, Partner: Chinese Patent Attorney, LI Hailong

Chinese national, based in Beijing. He graduated with a major in Computer Information Systems from Beijing Information Engineering Institute. He worked as an engineer at a software development company serving Hitachi, Ltd. and its group companies from 2001 to 2013, spending five years in Tokyo. He passed the Chinese Patent Attorney Examination in 2014 and worked at various patent firms such as Zhongke Patent Office. He joined Beijing IPCHA in May 2024. He specializes in electrical and mechanical fields.

Chinese Patent Attorney, DONG Zeyu

Chinese national, based in Beijing. He graduated with a major in Chemistry from Xiamen University. After graduation, he worked at a Chinese patent firm. He studied abroad in the U.S. in 2021, completing a master’s program in IT & Management at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He joined Beijing IPCHA in July 2024. He specializes in chemistry and software.

Partner: Chinese Patent Attorney, ZHANG Xiaoxun

Chinese national, living in Japan. After graduating from the Department of Software at the College of Computer Science, Beijing University of Technology in China, he worked for the Japanese company Sorun Corporation. He graduated from the Department of International and Business Law at Yokohama University in Japan. After working for patent offices in Tokyo, he passed the Chinese patent attorney examination in 2009. He registered as a Chinese patent attorney in 2011. He specializes in computers and software. He speaks Chinese, Japanese and English. Currently on assignment at ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation.

Partner: Chinese Patent Attorney, TU Qishun

Chinese national, living in Japan. After receiving his Master’s degree in pharmaceuticals from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, in China, in2008. He worked for patent firms in Beijing, China. He passed the Chinese patent attorney examination in 2013, and registered as a Chinese patent attorney in 2015. After coming to Japan in 2017, he worked for companies and patent firms. He specializes in chemistry. He speaks Chinese, Japanese and English. Currently on assignment at ITOH Patent Attorney Corporation.

Administrative Staff: BAI Lina

Born in Beijing, with extensive experience in patent administration. She joined Beijing IPCHA in May 2024.

Administrative Staff: ZHOU Yan

She graduated from the Department of International Economics at Toyo University. She worked as a patent administrator from 2017. She joined Beijing IPCHA in June 2024.
