- He received his Master’s degree from the School of Science at the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo in 1986. In the same year he joined the Japan Patent Office (JPO). He practiced in the JPO as Chief Senior Examiner, Chief Trial Examiner, and Senior Director of Trial and Appeal Department. He left the JPO in 2018, and joined our firm in July that year after registering as a patent attorney in May. He is head of our IP Patent Litigation & Research Department. He specializes in Telecommunications and information processing.
