Ryoko OSHIKAMO

- She graduated from the Department of Agricultural Science at the Tohoku University. She graduated from the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo. In the same year she joined Morishita Jintan Co., Ltd. She later joined the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Tokyo as a PhD candidate. She passed the Japanese patent attorney examination in 2002, and registered as a patent attorney. From 2001 she worked at patent firms in Japan and overseas. She passed the IP Litigation Attorney examination in 2006. In 2010 she received her LL.M from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC: Max Planck Institute). She joined our firm in August 2019 after being a research fellow of Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and obtained her PhD in Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki, in 2024. She specializes in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and chemistry.
