- He received his Bachelor's degree from the design division of the Graduate School & Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University, Japan, in 1979. In the same year, he joined the Japan Patent Office (JPO). He practiced in the JPO as Director of the Design Examination Standards Office, Senior Director, Chief Administrative Judge, and Senior Department Manager. He was registered as a patent attorney in 2013 and joined our firm that October. He is Counsel at our firm. He specializes in designs.
