- He received his Doctor's degree in Material Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. He worked for an electronics company and a heavy industry company. He passed the patent attorney examination and registered as a patent attorney in 2005. In 2009 he took part in the Summer Institute at the Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) at the School of Law, University of Washington in the United States. He is an expert in material engineering. He speaks English.
