- He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Keio University in Japan. He worked for Haemonetics Japan Co., Ltd. He passed the patent attorney examination and registered as a patent attorney in 2005. In 2007 he took part in the Summer Institute at the Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) at the School of Law, University of Washington in the United States. He is an expert in mechanical engineering and computer software. He speaks English.
